to all and thank you for the beautiful comments on my dimensional picture. I wish I could take credit for drawing all of it, but, that one was a lot of paper piercings and help with shared and purchased files along with some of my own.
The next one, will be my own drawings and paper piecings, it's taking longer but worth the effort, plus, I'm learning patience with it.
So for today, I'm sharing this weeks Tuesday Color Challenge for the Outlawz group.
Beautiful colors chosen this week, and the twist was to add a doily or white lace.
This is what I came up with....
I used a light grey card as my background, an adorable digi stamp, "Leah at the Beach" from http://guylousinimitability.com. Guylou's Inimitablility, has fabulous digital stamps, there's something for every occasion.
The pretty doily, Floral Doily # BKD091 by Judy Stark, can be found over at at www.bosskutdiecuts.com.
Bosskutdiecuts.com carries digital cutting files, available in many formats, so you can use them on your machine.
I used my pretty in pink Gazelle to cut the designs for this card. With the new "print and cut feature", I'm able to get amazing details and no more hard on the hand scissors cutting for me. Not only do I love this machine, but did you know it was "Awarded the Silver Medal" on Top Ten Reviews for 2012? WTG Bosskut, what an honor.
The Bosskut Gazelle be made in the USA starting in May 2012, GO Bosskut, Go Gazelle!!! I'm one proud owner and a happy crafter! Sorry, I get carried away, back to my card post.
For this digi stamp, I chose to keep a little of the white showing for lighting contrast.
I cut out my stamp, then colored it in, this was done with some pretty new colored pencils, thanks to my sweet RAK friend, I'm guessing she knew my 20 year old plus, pencils, found in the kids left behind boxes were wearing down to nothing. She was right!
I did add a little marker on the outlines for detail. This card made a nice addition to my collection, which can be used for all occasions.
That's it for today, happy crafting, stay healthy, and thank you all for dropping by, the well wishes and prayers.
Blessings, Lori m

This is fabulous, Lori, and that doily is spectacular. I love your sparkly sand. It kind of looks like a magic carpet that she is about to sail off on.
I'm so glad we scooped you for the color challenge design team.
Blessings,
Teresa
